Reckless Driving Defense REDUCES Case to Defective Equipment

a good brunswick va reckless driving lawyer can protect his client at court by convincing the judge to enter a not guilty order

Brunswick County Reckless Driving REDUCED to Defective Equipment

The Virginia Defective Equipment law is a minor non-moving infraction. Defective equipment does not add moving violation demerit points. A common example of defective equipment is operating a motor vehicle with a broken headlight. A violation might trigger a nominal fine. A defective equipment violation is analogous to a parking ticket. Both trigger a small fine. But afterward, there is no other negative long-standing impact. In many instances, we can convince the Judge to find our client NOT GUILTY of criminal misdemeanor reckless driving. If the Judge is unwilling to dismiss the case completely, then a defective equipment disposition is the next best result. Our reckless driving lawyers could do that very thing in this case. Brunswick VA Reckless Driving Lawyer Client Reviews

82/70 FL driver 5.0 stars Posted by Barry August 21, 2015 Hired attorney Mrs Wells was excellent. I was unaware that anything over 80mph in the state of Virginia was considered reckless driving. I have heard other states laws are over 90 up to 100. Mr Wells was able to get my ticket reduced from reckless driving to defective equipment. No points, and is considered to be a non moving violation similar to a brake light out. Very happy with the outcome.

Great help for an out of state driver fighting a ticket 5.0 stars Posted by a Speeding Ticket client March 3, 2014 I was shocked to find out the problems my 'reckless driving' speeding ticket of 85 in a 65 were going to cause me in the state of Virginia. Turns out this is a misdemeanor in VA, quite laughable if you ask me (I live in Florida where they have real crime). I received about 100 letters in the mail from lawyers all across the state but decided to do my own research. I picked Mr. Wells because they had good reviews with similar issues as mine and I am happy to add another. I had nothing to help me get the ticket thrown out but he got it drastically reduced and my fine was barely over $100 and I just had to take a VA drivers course. The amount of savings in fines and increased insurance premiums is worth every penny and then some. Not to mention not having that scam of a misdemeanor on your record. VA should be ashamed of making decent people out to be criminals. Hell, you wouldn't get pulled over for 75 but now at 85 you get the same criminal charge as theft, drug possession, prostitution, assault and disorderly conduct. Hardly seems right. The firm charges you a flat fee and simply just knock it out for you. Frankly, these guys are such pros you don't really feel like a lot is going on but they know what they are doing. I only hired them 2 weeks before my date and it still came out great. Highly recommended!
